Blind Monkey
A downloadable game
Blind Monkey is a 2d Roguelike where you control a small hero fighting endless waves against evil ninja. After an enemy is defeated they drop an experience orb that empowers the monkey, and after enough waves the player will receive a super upgrade for even more power. See how long you can last before the enemy ninja take your home. The controls use the mouse where holding down left mouse button and swiping fast deals more damage and equipment gained through super upgrades can be used with “q” or right click , movement includes a dash used with left shift that comes from a super upgrade, the basic movement includes a double jump with ‘w’ or space, ‘a’ to go left and ‘d’ to go right.
In the future I plan for this game to be much larger but this is essentially the first level.

After playing for a while, I’ve come to really like this game and its premise. These types of games where it has similarities with Vampire Survivors (where you can level up and get upgrades in endless waves) are always so fun to play, and this is no exception. I especially liked the art style of the background and the player/enemies, which is the type of art I strive to create on my own.
I love the vibe and art style of this game. The swipe to kill mechanic is super unique and works pretty well. The UI for player upgrades is also well done!
